What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing does not include moving furniture, taking down pictures or mirrors, removing light fixtures or towel bars. I can do all these things for you for small fee.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been involved with wallpaper since age 15. From installing to selling to the manufacture and printing of wallpaper. I know it inside and out.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I hung my first roll of Wallpaper at 15. My parents had just started a retail Wallpaper business, and as we opened new stores, displays and the stores themselves needed to be wallpapered. I’ve been hanging paper regularly ever since, 40 plus years later.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I love all projects big and small. I get such gratification with the final product and seeing how happy and excited my client is. I love what I do and it shows.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take all aspects of how the person you’re looking to hire presents themselves and is able to communicate with because they listened to what you want.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Have your wall dimensions already, most hangers want to figure the wall square footage to know exactly the size of job and how many rolls are needed.
