Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We take great pride in the quality of our workmanship and the service we provide. From helping you choose materials that suit your style and budget, to offering free consultations to ensure your project is properly planned—we’re with you every step of the way. We never cut corners. That includes taking proper care to protect your floors, appliances, and containing dust when necessary. We use the latest tools and techniques to ensure every installation is built to last.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
A site visit is typically the best place to start. This allows us to assess the existing conditions and understand your vision for the final result. With countless material options available, we’ll help you choose between natural and engineered surfaces, explaining the benefits and considerations of each. Next, we’ll go over design details—such as layout, features, and seam placement—based on your chosen materials. From there, we can provide a realistic timeline and a clear, competitive estimate. Our ultimate goal is to deliver high-quality, custom installations while keeping costs reasonable and expectations transparent.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
With over a decade of experience in the remodeling industry—including time spent in showroom sales—we bring a well-rounded perspective to every project. We began with a strong foundation in stone and tile work and have since expanded into full bathroom and kitchen remodels, combining technical expertise with design insight.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have experience across a wide range of projects, including commercial spaces, high-end luxury custom homes, and large-scale tract housing. Whether it’s a detailed custom build or a fast-paced commercial job, we adapt to meet the demands of any environment.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of our favorite recent projects was a full kitchen remodel in Poway that took about four weeks to complete. We completely demolished the kitchen down to the studs, which gave us the opportunity to address any hidden issues and start fresh. From there, we guided our client through the entire process—connecting them with trusted showrooms for slabs, cabinets, hardware, lighting, and paint. It was a fully custom job, tailored to their vision from start to finish, and we’re proud of how it turned out.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
ake your time to find someone who values transparency, quality, and communication. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about the process, materials, and timeline. A good provider should be willing to explain the “why” behind their recommendations and help you understand your options—not just sell you a service. Be cautious of providers who promise fast work at the lowest price. While that might sound appealing, true quality takes time. The best providers are often booked out—and for good reason. They focus on doing the job right, not just quickly. Cleanliness, protection of existing areas, proper prep work—these are all signs of a professional who takes pride in their craft and ensures your specific project is handled with care.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before reaching out to a professional, it helps to have a clear idea of what you want to accomplish and what your priorities are. Here are a few important questions to consider: What’s your budget? Knowing your realistic spending range helps guide material choices and scope. What’s your timeline? Are you flexible, or do you have a specific deadline in mind? What features or finishes are most important to you? Identifying your “must-haves” vs. “nice-to-haves” will help focus the design and planning process. Are you living in the space during the work? This can affect how the project is scheduled and how we protect your living areas. Have you gathered any inspiration or reference photos? Visuals help communicate your style and preferences. Having these answers ready makes the conversation smoother and allows us to offer better guidance right from the start.
