What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I usually have a set price for most dump runs with exceptions. Fence projects can depend on the style, but we have a fair price and we can even match our competitors no problem. Overall we like to do a free estimate and discuss the price onsite.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Free onsite estimate and see what ideas they have and work to making those ideas come reality.

Vocational Training 3+ years of Construction Landscaping on the job training Military Experience

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Born and raised in an farm so like most country folks, we don't have all the commodities as a city would. So you have to figure out how to solve or fix different projects around the house. As time went by I started to have more interest so I decided to take some class to expand my knowledge, and thus Pacific Northwest Handymen was born.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The most rewarding project I have worked on, was putting up a fence for an elderly lady. Most companies that gave her a bid were way over priced due to all the things in the way such as rocks, bushes and tree's. But thanks to my crew we found a solution and she is so grateful and now she has the privacy fence she always wanted. She now is one of my regular customers.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that they have good references and a pictures is worth a million words.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The cost for both labor and materials. And the time it will take to finish the project.
