unfold fold
Greet, walk around house and note what is desired to be done on work order. Calculate a quote price, if accepted a service agreement is then signed by both parties. Always smile And be kind.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
10+ years of On-Hand independent home/ commercial painting experience

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Witnessed other companies bad painting business practices and used my experience and education to provide a more productive, ethical and professional experience for my clients.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All ages, genders, ethnicities, income ranges. There are some that give you the key/ codes that are able to trust professionals easier; while others are very skeptical, and some already drinking alcohol at 9 am and watch. Family and friends with homes and businesses. There is also a good portion of clients that I still keep in touch with on a regular basis. - I enjoy developing positive relationships with all of my clients, and you can assure a friendly attitude everyday! I am happy when my clients are happy.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Interior Kitchen Walls and Cabinets. It took 34 labor hours.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don’t trust all online Facebook andGoogle reviews, etc. — In my 14 years of painting experience, I have seen the most popular places do the cheapest/ worst quality work, while charging top dollar. They also will try to rush and make you try to sign and pay the whole invoice before the project even begins, thus locking them so they are unable to obtain a better painting service/ alternative.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Choose smaller, local, painting contractors/ organizations OR choose a bigger more recognized and expensive painting services? *(Bigger organizations maybe more trustworthy perhaps for getting the job done fast, while hiring inexperienced and underpaid employees and labeling them “professional”)* Is the painter helpful and kind /employees? Can the job be done with a deadline? What specifically does this painting service offer that differentiates them from the competitors? Does this business follow proper business ethics? Do I have to worry about completing the project being safe on the job? (OSHA) Is this business insured? Is the painter helpful and kind?
