Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Free estimates for most jobs (we advise up front if there is a charge), hourly rate and flat rate depending on the job. We do not offer discounts as our prices are competitive and everyone is treated with the same respect. We do not negotiate our pricing otherwise, you probably paid too much if you didn’t ask for a discount. No games, no fancy double talk, just good work at a good price!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We provide free estimates for most jobs. After we agree on price and services we will set a repair date. I usually set my schedule up each Sunday for the following week and communicate that to our customers. We are very communicative and prefer texting to communicate .

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been remodeling homes for over 30 years. I have set up home repair programs with several churches focused on helping the elderly and single moms. I have been full time since 2018 helping those who call that need repairs done right the first time!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Learned the trades in high school and then applied that knowledge to repairing my home, friend’s homes, starting church home repair ministry for elderly and single moms.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with a plethora of customers from tenants, home owners, to commercial businesses.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Completed a walk-in shower for a retired veteran with Parkinson’s. Full tear-out, instal, painting, new supply and drain assembly was completed in about 2 1/2 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Who is responsible for what. Like, moving furniture, nick knacks, and so forth. How long will the project take?
