Introduction

Ben Erickson, Owner, has been practicing Landscape Architecture in the Twin Cities for over 16 years, first learning the ropes at the office of CLOSE Landscape Architecture until opening b.e landscape designs in 2012. We do commercial as well as residential projects and as of 2017, b.e. landscape designs offers installation as part of its scope of services, so give us a call and let us know how we can help out with your next project. Most enjoyable part of my job is watching a project go from "design" phase to "installation", and helping the client be a part of that process.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My first consultation is always free. After the initial meeting I will respond to the client with any fee for design or installation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I would first reach out to the client to see when we could meet to look at, and discuss the scope of the project and any details about the site. After that I would go back and come up with a price for design (if necessary) or installation of the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of MN. I am also licensed by the state of MN to practice in that state.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with both residential and commercial clients and several municipalities around the Twin Cities area. I have worked with several different park and recreation entities around the metro area as well.
