Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
After I receive information regarding potential culinary needs and a discussion about possible menu items. I take care to consider a personal quote based on food costs, other materials and the time needed to provide the best service and experience to my clients.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Customers will visit my website, and complete a small questionnaire requesting a quote or more information. Chef Dean will contact the new customer either via phone or email with information or more questions. We will go from there with a quote, agreement, set date and then cook and enjoy!

Chef Dean is an Escoffier honors graduate and a graduate from the Sushi Institute of America in LA. Cooking professionally since 1996, a few of his finest achievements include an ACF Escoffier Silver Medal as well as receiving an invitation to cook a private dinner at the Governor’s mansion in Denver, CO. His most recent experience includes working his way up the ranks at the Four Seasons five diamond hotel in Scottsdale. unfold fold
This is a tough question because I am certainly proud of the catering events that I have handled. But I am equally as proud of the weekly meals and food prep. that I provide for my long term clients. I however am most happy for the smiles that I get when clients and family take the first bite of something I have created.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure that the person who is going to cook your meal is personally invested in their craft.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Potential Clients should understand the location of where the event will be held and what is available for the Chef to use to create meals (example; Kitchen, items in the kitchen etc.) Also Clients should understand how many people will be attending the event. Clients should think through menu items with regards to costs and in season items.
