Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
At Gold Dust Provisions, pricing is designed to be simple, transparent, and inclusive — no hidden fees or surprise charges. Each weekly package includes delivery, thoughtful packaging, and nutrient-rich meals made with seasonal, organic ingredients. I also offer perks for recurring customers, including occasional freebies and priority access to limited-run items like broths, sauces, and snacks. I'm happy to discuss custom plans if you're ordering for a family or have specific dietary needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Getting started is easy. I’ll send you a welcome guide with the current seasonal menu and simple instructions for weekly ordering. You’ll choose the number of meals you'd like, and I handle the rest — shopping, prepping, cooking, and delivery. Meals are designed to be health-conscious, satisfying, and flexible enough to work for most dietary preferences. While I don’t offer fully customized menus, I do offer thoughtful modifications where possible (such as gluten-free or dairy-free versions of certain dishes).

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’m a professionally trained chef with a two year culinary arts degree and over thirteen years of experience in fine dining restaurants, luxury estates, and wellness-focused food service. My background includes classical technique, seasonal cooking, and nutritional meal planning. In recent years, I’ve continued my education in holistic nutrition and the healing power of whole foods, integrating that knowledge into everything I cook.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My journey began in the kitchen — first in restaurants, then as a private chef. Over time, I became deeply invested in how food affects our energy, mood, and long-term health. After working with postpartum mothers, busy families, and individuals navigating dietary restrictions, I saw the need for food that is both deeply nourishing and joyfully delicious. That became the seed for Gold Dust Provisions.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve cooked for a broad range of people — from new moms and busy professionals to corporate wellness events, universities, and high-profile families. While this new meal delivery model is not made-to-order, it’s designed to meet the needs of people who care about eating well: nutrient-dense food, clean ingredients, and zero stress. My customers value quality and trust me to bring variety and balance to their weekly meals — without needing to micromanage every bite.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my favorite recent projects was cooking for a new mother during her fourth trimester. I created a rotating weekly menu focused on anti-inflammatory, gut-healing, and lactation-supportive foods. It ran for about three months and included everything from teas and broths to hearty, satisfying meals. Watching her energy improve and hearing how much her family looked forward to each delivery reminded me why I do this work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone who truly listens to your needs and understands the connection between food and well-being. The best meal delivery providers care just as much about the sourcing, intention, and energy behind the food as they do about the final flavor. Ask where the ingredients come from, and how flexible the service is with your lifestyle. Great food should feel both nourishing and empowering.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before reaching out, it helps to consider: Are there any specific health goals or sensitivities you want to address? How many meals do you realistically need each week? Do you prefer heat-and-eat meals or items you can build into your own routines? Is this for you, your family, or someone else (like a postpartum gift)? Understanding who I’m cooking for helps me guide you to the right plan — and allows me to continuously evolve the menu with real customer lifestyles in mind. My goal is to make the experience feel effortless, nourishing, and aligned with your rhythm.
