Introduction

I provide very healthy, nutritious and delicious meals backed by many years of cooking and nutrition experience. I cook in your home primarily (but some dishes can be prepared in my kitchen and delivered). I have a wide variety of foods and diet styles in my repertoire and can adhere to any dietary considerations or restrictions you may have. Cooking is my passion. It is my art form, especially the beautiful aromas, colors and textures of a variety of foods. I mix in enthusiasm, love and cleanliness. And I like to plate it up in an artistic and pleasant arrangement so it's enticing. I find cooking and meal/menu planning very creative and unique to each client. My favorite place to be is in the kitchen!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

It wasn't a decision, it was a given! I started cooking at age 9 because I had a passion for it. For me, cooking is an art.....it's a fabulous form of creativity. I love every minute of it!

What types of customers have you worked with?

First I plan the menu items with my client via email, deciding what they would like to eat. Then after the menu items are selected I prepare a grocery shopping list. You approve the list via email (if you like), then I go to the market of your choosing (or if you prefer to shop, that's fine). I arrive at your location with groceries and proceed to cook. I usually spend 4 hours cooking approximately 8 menu items which could last 2 - 3 days (and can include 2-3 lunches and 2-3 dinners), depending on how many people we are feeding. Then I either serve the food, or store it with labels in the refrigerator. Then I clean up.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Let the Chef know your food preferences - the foods you like and the foods you don't like. (I give all my new clients a food list to go over so they can quickly indicate which foods they like and which foods they don't like.)
