20+ years in the industry. Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts and Business Management from Johnson and Wales University Training in 2 different 3 Michelin Starred Restaurants Traveled the world learning food in a variety of different Countries

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started working as a dishwasher and prep cook in my parents restaurant in South Eastern Indiana at 10 years old.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a variety of customers. From consistent meals of older couples who don't want to cook and clean any more, 10 course date night dinners, to high end business dinners and everything in between.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I did a wonderful Colorado themed Dinner for a Family visiting their Daughter who lives here. The mixing of local ingredients with different cultures who have made major impacts on the area into one menu was a fun and exciting challenge. The family was also a lot of fun so that always helps!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Talk to them, if the phone call is uncomfortable the meal time conversation might be as well. Ask about the food! A good chef will be able to answer your questions to a satisfactory degree the more comfortable the answer the more they understand the food.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What all you are looking for out of the event? While I am happy to walk clients through their thoughts on what they are looking for, approaching me or any other Chef with exactly what you are looking for experience wise makes writing menus for events a smoother experience.
