What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When I speak with the client, first I will ask about food allergies or dietary restrictions. Then I would ask about event details and food budget. Then I would work closely with the customer to tailor a menu that is suitable for their needs and that will work for everyone in the party even if there is only one person who is vegan (there is always one, haha).

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from culinary school in Jamaica. I have also trained with master chefs when i traveled aboard cruise ships and worked in various hotels.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My passion for cooking began in Jamaica where I was born. I attended culinary school there and eventually got my first job working as a cook in one of the major hotels on the island.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with various people from locals to travelers, all have shown gratitude and thanks. I am humbled by the kindness they have all shown me and I look forward to working with many more.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I took on a small wedding for a lovely lady and her charming groom and helped organize her day from start to finish. Besides catering but helping with small things such as arranging a makeup artist to go to her home, floral arrangements, setting up a beautiful table for dinner, etc. They were over the moon and I was very pleased that I could help make their day less stressful.
