Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is a flat per person fee plus the actual cost of groceries. We believe in total transparency, there are no surprises or hidden charges.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First we have a brief phone consultation where we discuss the requirements and expectations of the client, food preferences, service model etc. Next a custom group of menu choices is designed with client preferences in mind, we work together to craft a menu exactly suited to clients wants and needs. After client decides on menu, a final menu and estimated invoice is created for client to go over and approve. At that time a deposit is required, clients work is done, we will see you at your event.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
35 years restaurant chef experience, continuing education, mentorship.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
The restaurant industry was permanently effected by the pandemic, at that point in time a decided to step out on my own and craft a restaurant experience in the comfort and intimacy of a clients own home.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have served everyone. Families, corporate heads, entertainers, executives, and sweet 16 birthday parties. We have worked around food allergies, dietary restrictions, and all manner of requests to craft a delicious meal and to assist in building a memory.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Currently in the process of helping an accident victim get back on his feet. Working closely with him, his wife, and his personal physician and nurse to provide not only delicious but nutritious foods designed to help him regain his health. It looks to be a three month process. First undertaking of this nature, fulfilling to say the least.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do your homework, realize that you get what you pay for, and to understand that you are in the drivers seat. The client should feel like they are directing the experience not reacting to or secondary to the company providing the experience, it is about the guests not the chef or his servers.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Any questions necessary to ensure they get the experience they are looking for. During our brief phone conversation we help the client feel confident in the decisions they make and prompt them with questions to ensure all procedures are in place for a memorable experience,
