My name is Joe I been a personal chef for 18 years. I worked along side of celebrity chefs at special functions. I also do demonstrations and teach basic culinary skills. I come from a German background, I learned a lot of German style cooking from my grandmother and mother. They are a big inspiration to me. If German food is not your thing I have been a Chef for about 18 years with plenty of experience on different styles of food, whether if its small, large, group we can work on a menu that will fit your needs. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I Charge $75.00 an hour minimum 2 hours. This does not include groceries.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will work with you on a menu. l do all the grocery shopping and will bring all the ingredients, tools, and utensils required to complete the meal. Your guests bring his or her own chef knife* and cutting board. After all your guests arrive, we will have a short discussion about the menu. Your guests will then participate in a Hands On Cooking Class and prepare the menu with the guidance of a trained chef. You then will sit down with your guests and DINE ON YOUR CREATION

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a culinary certification from a culinary arts program. I have about sixteen years experience working in hotels, country clubs, retirement homes, and a hospital.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I always loved cooking around the age of five. I learned from helping my mother and learning from my German Grandmother.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have won about five chili competitions and a local burger contest. I worked with Gram Eliot and a few celebrity Chef on a food wine music festival.
