Introduction

*Please note my reviews are incorrectly linked to my RESTAURANT which holds a rating of 4.8 on Google. My private chef work is all 5 stars. We are working on a fix, thank you! I'm a chef, restaurant owner, and event specialist with over a decade of experience creating upscale, intentional, scratch-made food. I’ve cooked for celebrities, led luxury events from the Hamptons to London, and built a community-rooted restaurant in Providence known for high-quality plant-based cuisine. Whether you're hiring me as a private chef or for custom catering, I bring creativity, professionalism, and deep care to every detail. My private chef work includes ingredients of all types. My plant-based restaurant, PiANTA, is located on the historic Federal Hill in Providence, Rhode Island.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Every event is custom, so pricing depends on scale, service, and level of personalization. I offer all-inclusive packages as well as à la carte options. I don’t compete on price—I compete on quality, care, and experience. Travel fees may apply for out-of-area events, and I’m always transparent upfront. I truly appreciate the opportunity to do what I love.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start with a quick conversation to learn more about your needs, style, and vision. From there, I’ll provide a tailored quote and proposed menu or experience. I keep the process collaborative, flexible, and grounded in trust. Whether it's a wedding, dinner party, or creative event, you’ll always feel heard and supported.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve trained under renowned chefs, run my own award-winning restaurant, and led luxury catering and event experiences from NYC to the Hamptons to London. I’m constantly evolving through hands-on experience, mentorship, and a deep passion for meaningful hospitality.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started cooking as a creative outlet and form of connection, and it grew into a lifelong calling. I opened my restaurant from scratch and built it into a community cornerstone. Over time, that expanded into luxury events, private chef work, and experiential catering. Every path I’ve taken has been guided by love, integrity, and service.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with a wide range—from celebrities and high-net-worth clients to nonprofits, families, and local community groups. I’ve done multi-day retreats, bachelorette weekends, private dinners, weddings, children’s parties, wellness events, and corporate gatherings. No matter the client, I bring the same care and quality to every experience.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently created a luxury “Old Money” picnic at The Breakers in Newport. It included a lace-and-gold tablescape, vintage details, a tea party menu, and framed photos of the bride and groom. I also included printed lyrics from the groom’s favorite song as a surprise. It took a few weeks of planning and a few hours of on-site setup—but the joy it brought made it unforgettable.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find someone whose values align with yours. Do they care about the experience as much as the outcome? Are they thoughtful, responsive, and creative? This work is personal—so hire someone who sees you as more than just a transaction.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What’s the feeling or experience you want to create? Do you have a specific budget, aesthetic, or dietary need? Are you open to creative ideas and solutions? The more clarity you have, the easier it is for me to build something beautiful and tailored just for you. With that said, I am also more than happy to go into a conversation and build our idea together from the ground up.
