Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing reflects the high end experience we provide. From our warm professionalism to the quality of ingredients and the skills we bring to the event, we pride ourselves on attention to details and refusing to cut corners.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to have a conversation discussing the host’s needs and working together to write a menu. The chef writes up what was discussed and sends to the host who can then suggest changes or edits. On the day of the event we like to arrive in the early afternoon giving us plenty of time to get the lay of the land and prepare all of the food on site.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Both chef (Sean) and the server (Lauren) started working in kitchens as teenagers. They continued honing their skills for the next 15-20 years. Sean received his degree in hospitality management from JNA culinary institute in 2006 and has been garnering experience all over the city, the Hamptons, and the mainline ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Everyone from bachelorettes in the Hamptons to the couple celebrating 50 years of marriage.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Our most recent event was a 5 course wine dinner for 12 lovely people. We started with an hour cocktail reception where we set and passed hors d’oeuvres like devil egg manage a trois and freshly sucked oysters. Our guests then sat for a completely unique menu including foie gras sliders and lamb shanks braised to perfection.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
A healthy mix of personality and professionalism will make for a fun and well done event.
