Thank you for considering me for your event! I have been cooking for over 30 years, mostly in California, Massachusetts and NJ. I have cooked for the rich & famous, and have owned a restaurant in the Caribbean. I can do small private dinner parties for 10-20 people or larger events up to 150. My events are high end, with attention to detail. I LOVE what I do, it is my passion. I am reliable, professional and hard working to ensure your event is a success. My goal is to make you feel like your event is an amazing one, well executed with attention to detail and amazing, delicious food made from scratch. An educational note regarding private Chefs. Are you looking for a private Chef? Here is what you need to know… Private Chefs can also be caterers, but they mostly are working alone with no staff until the event. The pandemic has boosted the private Chef industry as many people are looking for home based chefs. The #1 site to search for a private chef is Thumbtack. There are also additional private Chef sites, but organizations like these mostly deal with clients with exceptionally large finances. Private chefs are responsible for menu planning, customer service, preparation for events. They can also assist with booking bartenders, arranging florals, printed menus and more for your event. Some private Chefs are new to the industry and the work is very different than restaurant work. Make sure to ask how long your Chef has been working privately and ask if they have reviews or referrals. With few private Chefs to go around, book your event early! Most book between 6 weeks and 6 months out, especially during summer/high season. Not 48 hours. If you have a strict budget, many Chefs will be able to accommodate you by doing a drop off meal. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I generally start with a phone conversation to gather event details. Then I put together a specific menu of choices for your event. Once I know what selections you’d like, I can give you an accurate estimate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I began in the restaurant and catering industry in 1990 and have worked at acclaimed restaurants La Maison des Poelles and the Chateau Relais property, The Auberge du Soliel in Napa Valley. I have worked on multi million dollar estates in CA as a private chef, done events and weddings for up to 350 with my catering service and most recently opened and ran a restaurant in the Caribbean. I have worked for super high end clients and celebrities but also love to cater to the average food lovers!
