Hungry For Travel takes pride in being authentic and consistent. I put my all into making your event not only special but worry free. When hired to do an event, cooking class, bartending and/or catering I make sure it is at my very best. With Christian values and a non denominational approach I am limitless. I take your dietary needs, religious background and your personal taste all into consideration when customizing your menu. Being a Culinary and Hospitality professional I enjoy the interactions and intimate settings created around the dinner table. Knowing that in that first drink or bite can turn a great evening into amazing experience. I love what I do and I am passionate about how's it's done.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing per person only covers the food cost. The amount of time it takes to prep and shop for food is an added expense. Normally delivery is included unless otherwise specified. When servers and bartenders are needed they are paid hourly. The cost of utensils and rentals are NOT included in your cost per person. Gratuity is 20% on all services provided. Other pricing or arrangements can be discussed directly. I DO NOT BUY ALCOHOL** customers must provide there own alcoholic beverages for there event...

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to know what their preferences are and the type of cuisines they enjoy, it helps me to create a menu and style I know they will love. Working with the budget they have to accommodate their needs in elegance, But not taking away from the work that is put into preparing the meal. I enjoy getting to know who they are as well as what they desire for flavor.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to a Culinary H.S. in Manhattan NY, graduated from the Culinary Institute Of America in 2007, went on to study Szechuan cuisine in China for three weeks after graduation. I had an opportunity to cook in Thailand in 2015. Among other things I have been in almost all parts of this wonderful industry from cooking in restaurants, dishwashing, serving, bartending, catering, menu developing and much more.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I love people, the smile on there faces when they have received the service they were expecting. I enjoying the interaction and the intimate connections that are developed while engaging with one another over a beverage or cuisine.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have had the pleasure of working with a multitude of people in different countries and places. Schools, churches, corporate offices, restaurant settings, strictly kosher and many more.....

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am proud of my continual growth in this wonderful hospitality industry. I never stop learning and growing and strengthening my skills. You nor I have seen my best yet (I'm still working on it everyday).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Express what it is your looking for.. details are important!! Expect what you pay for!!! Take into consideration that a lot of time and thought goes into making sure not only the food is great but your experience is great.... Factor in the shopping, prepping, food cost and services your going to need for your event before you inquire about your meal.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How much they are really willing to spend per person? The venue that is picked (is it a suitable environment for the style of food you want)? What is it that you want to get out of your experience?
