Introduction

Call now to discuss your case. You aren't going to waste time with an intake Secretary or a new lawyer. It'll be me. As an advocate for equality, I am a strong believer in justice for all. Whether it is taking on a large insurance company or fighting the government, I remain dedicated to fighting for the rights of the underdog. I was raised and educated in the Midwest, first receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
You get what you pay for. Never more true than when choosing an attorney. Gammill Law's rates are higher than others on this platform, but they offer the highest value on thumbtack. When you compare experience, credentials, and reputation, there is simply no comparison.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First and foremost the Gammill Law team prides its self on actually listening to the client. We know each case is unique and comes with its own set of factors beyond the courtroom and the police reports.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
David Gammill received his law degree from The University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation he spent years honing his craft and learning the art of trial and cross examination as a Deputy District Attorney. David then had the unique opportunity to not only learn from the legendary Mark J. Geragos, but also led his trial division for years before opening Gammill Law.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I’ve always enjoyed taking on the system. So becoming a lawyer who defends people from the government or guys after deep pockets with big defense firms was a natural progression.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Gammill Law has represented people from all walks of life. Rich, poor, famous, unknown.... Gammill Law has successfully represented them all.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Mr. Gammill recently went to court for a client who was in custody on $50,000.00 bail and charged with a felony strike. He walked out with the client after the judged eliminated bail and "suggested" the prosecution get a deal done after Mr. Gammill's preview of the DAs case's problems. All in a mornings work!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Speak with at least a couple of lawyers before making your decision. Consider the free services of the public defender; at a certain price point you will only get taken advantage of by a mill that churns clients. Above all else trust your gut.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Have you handled this type of case before? How many jury trials have you done as first chair? What type of relationship or experience do you have with the courthouse my case is in?
