I have over 15 years experience as a General Practice attorney offering representation in Family, Civil, Criminal, and Municipal Court litigation, as well as real estate, including landlord/tenant matters. I can work with the client via email, phone, or in person. Some situations require in-person meetings, but I am flexible.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, 2007. Continuing Legal Education at or exceeds requirements.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father was a police officer for 20 years. My grandfather and uncles were educators. My mother owned a small business. My family are public servants and entrepreneurs by nature, so starting a business where serving the public good is involved is a natural extension of my upbringing.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Families. Landlords and tenants. Regular people who have made mistakes and need help.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I represented a commercial tenant who was taken advantage of by her landlord after Superstorm Sandy. The landlord wanted over $150,000 in back rent. I managed to get that reduced to $50,000 with payback spread out over time. The litigation took 6 months, but the client was able to continue running her business.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always look for an attorney who is attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Try to think through all the facts of the matter and gather together all your paperwork.
