I meet with them and find out what they want and determine how I can help them at the least amount of cost and anxiety to them.

28th year practicing law Attended BYU in 85-86 B.S. in Business Administration from UNLV in 1989 J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law Dec. 1991 Arbitrator for the Eighth Judicial District Court since 2001 former Alternate Child Support Hearing Master (Judge). former Small Claims Court Referee (Judge).

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I always wanted to be a lawyer and went to law school in Denver in 1989. I have been on my own in my own law practice since 1996.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Men, Women, Children, etc., of varying races, backgrounds and ethnicities. Large and small businesses.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have handled numerous divorces, child custody matters, business matters, litigation, etc. Recently, I settled an automobile accident case for $100,000.00.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You need to feel comfortable with your attorney. If an attorney guarantees you any specific outcome, you should find a different attorney because it is too difficult to guarantee a specific outcome and predict what a judge or jury is going to do in a particular situation.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What do I want to accomplish in the end? How much am I willing to spend to attain that accomplishment? Do I have everything to give to my attorney so that they can properly review such?
