I work on a contingency fee of 33-40%

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I offer a free consultation to go over options and to make sure it is a right fit for my firm and the client. Then we start the process of pursuing the claim, which often but not always requires the filing of a lawsuit.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated at the top of my law school class and then was hired at the Texas Supreme Court as a Briefing Attorney to Justice Paul Green. I later spent 15 years working on significant personal injury cases.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After law school, I worked at the highest court in Texas - the Supreme Court of Texas. I decided to go work for a well known personal injury firm following that and worked on many personal injury cases over the years.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don’t rely on slogans or billboards in choosing a personal injury lawyer. This is an important decision that will impact your ultimate recovery in any claim or lawsuit. Research the experience and credentials of the lawyer. Have they handled big cases? Do they actually go to court?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What is your experience? What does the legal process look like? Can I choose my own doctors for treatment?
