Introduction

I have fifteen years of experience as a personal injury attorney. I only represent injured people. I’m not a high volume law firm which means I take time to get to know my clients and their cases. You can count on speaking to me when you contact my office. I enjoy fighting to get clients fair compensation. I am passionate about my work because I get to know my clients and provide a more personal experience. I am proud to help those injured through no fault of their own.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
You’ll never pay out of your pocket. My fees are contingent, which means collected out of any recovery.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I typically gather information from the client, explain what the client can expect, ensure the client is getting or has gotten medical treatment and understands how we will prove his or her damages, and investigate liability. I’m readily available for discussing clients’ questions and concerns throughout the process. Communication with clients is vital to the attorney-client relationship.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Juris Doctor, St. Mary’s University School of Law. I have only practiced in the area of personal injury so I feel I am highly qualified in this area.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
After law school I knew I wanted to help people. I was fortunate to be hired by a PI firm where I learned a lot. I’ve never wanted to practice in another area of the law since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've represented countless people injured by motor vehicle collisions, trucking accidents, falls, and work place injuries.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent client came to me after a collision. She was worried because she had prior injuries. Despite this, I was able to get the client $130,000 in her pocket after she had several months of pain management for her aggravated spine injury and knew she would likely need more pain management in the future. Once she had her procedures and her doctors provided an estimate for the cost of her future treatment, it took a few months to resolve her case.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you are comfortable with the level of communication an attorney is willing to provide. I think it is important that you be able to speak to the attorney about your questions or concerns.
