What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Personal Injury work is on a contingency fee of 1/3 (no money up front).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We like to meet with our clients at a time and place convenient for them, ideally at one of our offices in Kirkland or Redmond.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

UW law degree (with honors, top 10%); graduate of Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started at a large law firm.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We represent clients with serious Personal Injury cases, including individuals who were injured in motor vehicle collisions or in a slip/trip fall; and wrongful death. We also represent individuals accused of crimes. We defend clients with misdemeanor and felony charges throughout King, Pierce, Thurston, Snohomish and other counties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have resolved hundreds of personal injury cases from small vehicle accidents and slip and fall cases to large serious injury and wrongful death matters. In defending individuals accused of crimes, I have obtained dismissals or reductions on the vast majority of my cases. We very rarely, if ever, have a client enter a guilty plea to the original charge.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find someone who is accessible, personable, and interested in you and your case.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

There are a lot of new attorneys on Thumbtack offering low prices. We try to provide competitive pricing but are mainly concerned with exceptional results, which is not always the cheapest option.
