Introduction

Ask about my at home training rates. I specialize in weight loss. I take a realistic approach to fitness by implementing theories and promoting habits that ensure the longevity of the results my clients achieve through my program. The methods used in my program are backed by peer reviewed and published studies which I either read about or participated in during my academic career.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer packages based on the amount of sessions customers do per week. I am open to discounts and negotiations. In order to best serve my clients needs and assess everyone on an individual basis, no pricing or negotiations are offered online. I want to take the time to get to know my clients and what fits their schedules, lifestyle and goals best. Unfortunately, this cannot be done online. I would love the opportunity to sit down and get to know each client because we're all unique n our own way.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The first meeting with a client will be a fitness consultation. We will discuss what your fitness goals are and what is going to be the best approach to reaching those goals ASAP. Also, we will talk about what fitness level the client is currently and what their medical history is to identify if he/she is healthy enough to participate in a fitness program. After the consultation we will discuss the necessary approach as far as program, frequency, diet and any other necessary lifestyle/ habit changes that we'll need to implement in order to reach the clients goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
-5 years of service in the United States Marine Crops with two overseas deployments to Iraq -Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University -Certified Personal trainer from the National Counsel on Strength and Fitness -Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I developed a passion for fitness during my enlistment in the Marine Corps. After separating from the military, I knew this was the route I wanted to take as a career. I love working with a diverse group of clients and I love how rewarding it is when they get the results they're working for.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
The type of clientele I attract are very motivated. They know what they want. They're very goal oriented, determined, committed and are willing to push themselves to reach their goals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I took on a client who was having trouble getting leaner and more defined. He was used to working out but wasn't pushing himself. Also, his diet needed a little fine tuning. After 6 months, we were able to transform his body. He boasts more muscle, is stronger and leaner. Also, he has a wealth of knowledge in nutrition to make sure he can maintain that look he worked so hard to achieve.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do your research. Make sure you know who you're hiring. Do they have the education, experience to get you to your goals safely and efficiently? What are past/ present clients saying about them?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
We live in Los Angeles. Potentially one of the most superficial cities in the world. Everyone here is a "personal trainer." Unfortunately, not every one of these individuals has the education, experience and the dynamic thinking ability to help you reach your goal. Go through trainers' profiles with a fine tooth comb. Read about their past experiences with clients. Look at their reviews and success stories. Ask questions. Lastly, keep an open mind and be willing to communicate. If you don't tell us the problem, we're not going to be able to come up with a solution.
