Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
For accountability purposes and general smoothness I require a minimum block of 10 sessions be pre-paid prior to our first session...then we simply check them off as we go.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I will assess the client leading up to our first session to have a firm understanding of goals, abilities and any true physical or medical obstacles. Then we both hop on a treadmill side by side and start the process! This process of physical action and science along with constant monitoring, assessing and adjusting...combined with a consistency most have never experienced before is how we reach goals!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve been deeply involved with sports and athletics my entire life. I went on to play college football. I have trained and coached martial arts for more than a decade. I am certified with several personal training and nutrition certifications.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
A lifetime of sports and athletics coming to a head with college football. That's when I became truly passionate about physical training and the science of how to go hard and be the hardest worker in the room ..while relying on the science of doing it the smartest way possible.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with all types. Literally. My youngest has been 3 years old(agility, motor skills and kickboxing) and my oldest so far has been 78 years old. From professional athletes to college athletes to High school and on down. And most definitely the average Joe that is looking to firm back up and or get mobile enough to keep up with their grand children! And most definitely many many transformations that thought they would never lose the 50, 100 or 150 pounds!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Expect a lot from your Personal Trainer! Keep them on their toes! Expect undivided attention. The social media and internet world has produced a lot of pseudo trainers that want your money in exchange for the least effort they can give. You need to be able to communicate with them and connect with them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What general goals do you have in mind? Have you had a trainer in the past? What makes you want to be more serious about these goals now? Are you currently going to a gym regularly?
