Introduction

Jaime is passionate about helping others. She helps her clients to develop appropriate and sustainable health and fitness routines; ones that support their lifestyle and health goals. With each individual client, Jaime facilitates an increased awareness of their strengths while addressing their weaknesses. In personal training, this comes through resistance and mobility programming. In yoga, this comes through appropriate poses. Jaime is known for being playfully assertive with her clients. She provides clear instruction and is attentive to form. Her warm and welcoming personality makes each session an approachable, effective, and enjoyable experience. She believes there are unlimited ways for all of us to find health and balance. It takes time, effort and confidence to create the lifestyle we deserve; one that celebrates our individuality. She has been a personal trainer for over 8 years and a practicing yogini for over 12 years.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing includes sessions as well as coaching - weekly check ins, encouragement to reach out to me anytime (yes, anytime) with questions, concerns, or accomplishments. I may not be able to reply immediately, but I will always get back to you as soon as I can!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I need to know about your goals and interest in yoga before we meet! So, I always start with a phone call. This phone call typically lasts between 10-30mins. Here´s what we cover: What got you interested in private sessions? What is your current physical level (ex. Have you worked out or practiced yoga before? Do you have any injuries? Chronic pains? Challenges/limitations?)? What do you hope to accomplish through fitness? Then we get into logistics to make sure that our locations and schedules match up well. This initial call gives both of us a chance to set expectations for working together and ensures that we will have a great sessions!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga Tree in San Francisco Corrective Exercise Certification through NASM Personal Training Certification through ISSA Mother of 3, aka always ready for a challenge :)

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have had the pleasure of working with clients from 4 to 84 years old! I've worked with clients working through injuries (broken bones, sprains, arthritis, chronic issues), chemo, diabetes, workaholics, and other challenges. I've also worked with the blind, pregnant, and LGBTQ. With so much diversity, what do my clients have in common? They all find personal growth through fitness. When instructing yoga, I use English terminology (not sanskrit), I focus on alignment, and create all yoga flows based on your needs, requests, and current physical state (strengths vs injuries).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
You will be able to tell very quickly if you feel comfortable with an instructor. Private sessions require building a strong and trusting relationship. Follow your intuition and stay focused on your goals.
