What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before we meet I ask you a series of questions. Goals? Why those goals specifically? Any injuries or limitations? Past experiences trying to reach your goals? and more. That helps me plan a first workout for you and gives me a general idea so that we're not walking in together blindly. In the first session we'll do a warm up together, chat for a few minutes, and then do some full body work to analyze your strengths and weaknesses and game-plan for the future!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I lost a significant amount of weight on my own and always wished I had someone to help me through it. I decided to be that person for others because it's just so hard. I started in corporate gyms running the personal training department and then realized that managing wasn't as hands on as I wanted.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Age ranges from 15 to 80 years old. Pre-diabetic, asthma, bulging discs, all sorts of limitations. Significant weight loss, building muscle, toning up, building a booty!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

In the photos you can see one of my long term clients reaching a significant strength goal of squatting 150 pounds! That took us about 8 months of amazing work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Everyone in this industry is certified and has experience. Look for someone you vibe with. Exercise is hard and daunting enough, If you don't genuinely LIKE the person you're working with, you're never going to want to go. It will demotivate you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How can they fit your lifestyle? Often times trainers want to change everything about your life and habits and I don't believe in that. Fitness and nutrition should work with YOU and what you enjoy. For example, I have chocolate EVERY DAY. I love it! I would never tell you you can't eat your sweets. Just make sure you don't eat too much ;)
