What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I have each client fill out a healthy history form, then perform a fitness assessment. After that we discuss their goals and strategize a plan that’ll get them optimal results. This happens at the first scheduled session.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attend fitness seminars and work shops every year to keep up on continuing education and the latest new things happening in the industry.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I loved to exercise my entire and what better way then help people feel confident, healthy, and in the best shape of their life. I switched my major from Nursing to Kinesiology and never ever looked back from that point.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of the clients who hire us are looking to improve their general fitness level. That would include weight loss, gain strength, and improve endurance levels. Our trainers also work with clients who want to rehab old injuries, as well as balance and core stabilization. The populations we work with include: athletes, kids, seniors, and adults.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I just finished working with an Autistic client over the last 2 years and it was a great experience. He ended up losing 35 pounds, gained a ton of self confidence, and got stronger. I believe I taught him a lot and he will take that with him as he moves on to college and into his adult life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at experience of the trainer. Is professional is fitting not? Do they offer a program that’s fits what you looking for and is with in your budget.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Am I seriously committed? What is a realistic time to achieve my goal? How many workouts a week can I do regularly?
