What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typical process would be to set up a 30 minute fitness assessment. We will talk about the fitness goals you’d like to accomplish, diet and nutrition, supplementation, exercise frequency, underlying conditions, and injuries. Then a quick workout to assess the customers functional fitness.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology/ NASM Certified

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started my degree in kinesiology at California State University Northridge and during the summers I would go back to seattle and train young athletes using my knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a wide range of clientele from beginners in fitness, fat loss, building lean muscle mass. Athletes of all ages,sport specific, speed training, rehabilitation, core training, and senior fitness, corrective exercise programs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am currently training a mother of three who came to me and had never worked out. She has lost 75 lbs. I have been training her since 2018 she continues to progress every time she comes to the gym and is constantly looking for new challenges.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you talk to the trainer prior to starting the session so you can discuss your goals and you both can come up with a realistic plan together.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
