Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
After working at a box gym at the start of my career I realized how inflated the prices were. I decided to step out on my own to ensure that training could be affordable for everyone!!! I absolutely love what I do and am so honored for each and every one of my clients. A huge way I show my appreciation is I don't price gouge. I want fitness to be attainable for everyone who's truly willing to put in the work. I also just recently opened up my own studio so there's no gym membership fee's for you. Come in for a free consultation to vibe me, my training style, location and atmosphere.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I first invite you in for a free health and fitness consultation. This is where I measure your body fat and take circumference measurements. We talk about your goals and I have you do a quick fitness assessment. You then have the option to sign up with one of my programs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’m NASM certified with 8 years experience. TRX certified and have continued education through NASM.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
After losing 65 pounds in my early 20’s I found my love for health and fitness and decided to become a personal trainer. I started my career at 24 hour fitness and eventually branched out on my own.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with people from 12-97 years old, male and female and all different health levels. The people I want are willing to work, honest through the process and committed to their goals. I've had collegiate athletes and office workers, stay at home moms and dads who work multiple jobs. Again, as long as you're ready I'm ready to help and be there for you.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
My recent project is my new location!!! I can't believe I finally took the leap and to have started this during a pandemic. The new location took us 10 days to accomplish and I couldn’t have done it without my amazing clients and hubby!!! Loving our new gym home and can’t wait to push my boo bears harder than ever!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice for you while looking for a personal trainer is to make sure it's actually PERSONAL. That they're actually going to focus on you, your individual needs, correct form to prevent injury and also so you get the most out of your lift... Also, make sure they're actually certified. Just because they look like they know how to keep themselves in shape doesn't mean they know how to get others in shape. It's not a one size fits all type of deal. Each person is so different. Oh, make sure it's fun! You need to enjoy this journey otherwise it's not going to be a path you stay on.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Find out what qualifications your trainer has. There are sadly a lot of people out there who are claimed trainers with zero education other than “I like to work out.” Also, see if there are different program types and what they come with. Some client may need a bit more attention and accountability while others are cool with just coming in a few times a week for a safe and progressive workout.
