Introduction

Why would you choose me as your coach? With 12+ years of expertise and continuous scientific education in California, I understand you as an individual, adult & senior, pre & post-natal, menopause. I will design a workout program tailored to your goals, whether you want to lose weight, tone-up, get stronger, build muscle, gain flexibility, build self-esteem, improve or maintain your fitness level, I will provide nutrition guidance to help you reach your goals. I will show you that working out, getting toned, building muscle and losing weight, can be done in a fun way, no tight schedules or limiting diets. With the correct exercises and lifestyle, you will enjoy life in a healthy way. I have been coaching for 12 years and have worked with people from different age groups and fitness levels. Since the pandemic I switched to virtual training and my people love it, and so do I! I am able to now also coach people from outside San Francisco; some of my people moved out of the city but stayed with me and I got some new people from Europe. It's amazing how the pandemic created new opportunities! Currently I am doing both virtual and in-person training. I had a sedentary life working in a corporate job and made a career switch in 2011. Therefore I perfectly understand our barriers combining the demands of a busy life with a healthy and active lifestyle. People always tell me my motivation and energy inspires them to go the extra mile and I am honored to be able to bring positivity into people's lives. Would you like to experience some more, contact me!

Q&A

unfold fold
I have a special promotion for Thumbtack clients where you get the first 1 hour virtual workout for free (value of $85 for virtual and $95 for in-person): - 30min FREE introduction via zoom (or phone) to discuss your goals, lifestyle, medical history and determine your starting level in order to develop a tailored workout program - 1st workout FREE (value $85) if you commit to 6 virtual workouts via zoom (value $510-$85=$425) - 1st workout FREE (value $95) if you commit to 6 in-person workouts in San Francisco (SOMA, Mission Bay) (value $570-$95=$475)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We schedule a free introduction session in order to discuss your lifestyle, physical and medical history as well as determine your starting level. The 1st training session will already give you an idea of how we can progress your starting level.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I got certified as Personal Fitness Trainer by National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2012. I am attending yearly fitness conferences in order to stay on top of new trends and new research. I take specialized education courses such as training seniors, menopause, pre & post-natal, nutrition, lifestyle behavior coaching, etc. I read business magazines and receive newsletters of all the important associations in the industry. I believe you can learn something new every day!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It is my passion to empower people to live a healthy lifestyle! It makes me happy to bring positivity to your life, to help you feel better, to help you get stronger so you will look forward to our next workout.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have trained a broad range of customers: - ages between 20-90 - male & female - special populations: pre- & post-natal, menopause, seniors, asthma

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I started training a senior of 90 years old who is still active, walks and plays tennis, but he had bad balance and fell often. After only 4 months he was already standing on the BOSU ball (half dome) without holding on and lifting weights while standing on it. He walks faster, plays tennis much better and has much better balance. It sounds like a small achievement but it's a huge thing in this senior's daily life and I'm very proud of him!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Choose for self-employed trainers who work on their own, not for trainers working in a gym. A self-employed independent trainer will be much more loyal to you. If you choose for a gym, you might get different trainers along the way because there is a huge turnover as gyms typically only pay their trainers 1/3 of the amount you will pay the gym.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The decision to start to work out with a personal trainer doesn't come overnight. It's not only about a workout, it's about tailoring the right workout for the right person.
