Introduction

Clients should hire me for safe, effective and results driven workouts and programs that are uniquely designed for their body and mindset. I am not your cheapest option but, I am your best one. After four decades in the industry my passion for inspiring change in my clients is greater than ever because what I do works. Corrective and Functional Strength addresses overall function and alignment which fosters success in everything we do. My experience pays off for you. Specific challenge areas unique to your body, like glute strength and or trimming down the thighs or building up your arms or chest or improved cardio capacity may be important to you. Often clients need support getting back after an injury or illness or help with athletic performance. The more mature, which I work with well, has specific needs which we address. Your commitment pays off. TRX (suspension training), free weights, cables machines, Pilates and HIIT training are just some of the tools utilized in workouts. For virtual workouts we use body weight exercises, the stairs, furniture and walls and paper plates for sliders, there are numerous other ways to make home workouts effective with little equipment. If you need help with purchasing equipment I can help you. I am skilled with back and joint issues and, address posture and the body from the ground up, the foot posture. This makes every exercise done even more effective throughout the entire body. Runners, hikers, bikers and athletes benefit from the specific foot focused conditioning. As a Purium Health Coach I can help with detox programs and healthy, lasting lifestyle changes. I stand out because of my versatility, experience, humor and maturity. I've worked thousands of individuals and I'd like to work with you! Introductory Package includes 75 minute Functional Movement Assessment and three private sessions. Single sessions available. How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've always been a mover and a teacher and one who wanted help others. I started dancing when I was 8 years old and became a professional and choreographed and taught as well. Teaching Pilates and functional strength and corrective exercise was a natural transition. Through the years strength training and somatic methods helped my performance and helped to prevent injury. Exercising and moving helped me stay away from drugs in my youth and I feel it is the single most important action of self-care and health we give ourselves, people need what I offer. Simply put-it's in my blood to move and instruct others.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
In recent years I have worked with the more mature adult, especially women but I have a fair amount of men too. Joint issues, recovery after injury or surgery and knee and hip replacements. However, all types and ages of clients have found benefit with my methods. My oldest client was 92 and my youngest 12!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I suggest looking at the providers' education and experience and see if it relates to you, you should feel comfortable and safe with the trainer. Start with a few sessions initially and then evaluate if the trainer is the right match. Don't feel obligated to any one trainer and be clear on your objectives.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
They should consider their SMART goals: S-Specific. What is that they want? If they are not clear they can ask the trainer to talk through it with them to get clarity. M-Measurable-How is the goal measured? How will they know if they successful? Is it just getting to sessions and working out a few times a week or something else? A-Attainable-Is their goal attainable in a specific time frame. If getting to two training sessions a week is the goal-are they able to carve out the time for that? If they want to get strong, how will they measure that? R-Relevant-is the goal worth achieving? Is it Realistic? Can they lose 30 pounds in two weeks? Can they work out four times a week with their schedule? T-Time-Is the goal focused around a measure of time and space? look
