I also enjoy constantly challenging myself to become better at life if, I'm being honest. I have been a competitive runner for over 22 years now and still try to crush my own goals. Recently I conquered the Pikes Peak Ascent and would like to continue challenging the trails here in Colorado Springs, my hometown. I look forward to connecting with you! Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Personal Training: $60/hr (varies depending on situation) Running Coaching: $60/hr Online training: - $125/month for just a month to month workout program - $200/mo for both workout and nutrition planning

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I want to have an initial free consultation with the individual either over phone or in person. We of course go over goals for the individual, long and short and go over the necessary paperwork needed to begin (i.e. PAR-Q, etc.). I will go over my philosophies briefly and what we will do in order to accomplish the client goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a BS and MSc in Sports Medicine and Strength and Conditioning. I am NSCA CSCS certified. USATF Certified Coach

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I just love being fit, healthy and staying a fast runner! I have been an athlete and runner all my life and a huge proponent of health being a lifestyle and actually living that mantra. Many think about it but don't act on it. I want to help people get to that point and feel confident in their lives. Running can be a huge part of a healthy lifestyle as well.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have a wide range of clients. Most of my clients are female or males in their 30's to 50's, however I have an 85 year old client, a 12 year old client and even a paraplegic wheelchair client who has no feeling from the sternum down to the feet. What goals do my typical clients have? -Lifestyle Alterations -Weight-loss -Strength Gains -Toning -Running & Form Analysis -Nutritional Counseling I have worked with many sports performance clients from youth to post college as well. I also have helped some ROTC students get a qualifying score for their testing.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I just took over an entire personal training business this May of 2018. Most of my summer and even right now (9.14.18) I have been building and working on everything to do with this business. I am very happy this opportunity has come my way.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Do not just aim for the lowest price. Personal training is not cheap anymore. Many personal trainers do have a lot of experience so if low price is what you're looking for then you'll get poor service in return. Would you walk into your doctors office and argue the price for the visit? I doubt it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Drill them on their experience. Many trainers do not offer a high value and you need to be honest with what you need.
