Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing for training packages depends on the frequency the client wants to workout, as well as the length of the workout. Price will vary between $23.00 - $50.00 per session. Each potential client will receive one free trial session.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The first session is always free. This is a great chance for us to get to know each other. Finding a trainer or coach is a big commitment so it is important that you find the right fit. On day one, we will spend a lot of time talking. I will ask you about your goals, hobbies, workout experience, nutrition, stress levels, and injury history. I will then take you through a series of movements to see any imbalances and how well you body moves. Once we complete those movements I will put a individualized plan together that will help you reach your goals. Each plan is periodized and each workout builds off of the last. I will also determine how many calories you burn per day and give you a calorie breakdown. This will tell you how many calories you need to eat to lose weight, gain weight or maintain. It will also include macro (carb, protein, fat) percentages for each day.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have been an athlete my entire life and lifting weights was paramount to my success. I wasn't sure what I was going to college for until I learned I could spend my days in a weight room. Once I graduated, I got on at a local gym in my hometown as a personal trainer and absolutely loved it. I enjoy the day to day interactions with my clients, meeting new people, critical thinking to build the best program for the individual, sharing my knowledge of strength training, and I get to wear gym clothes everyday.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Athletes / Weight loss / Powerlifting competitors / Strength training / Seniors / Kids / Bodybuilding / Rehab (back, knee, shoulder)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I have been working with a client for 3 years who lost 180 lbs in 10 months. The transformation physically, emotionally, and mentally has been incredible to watch. He is know hooked and his goals have changed to putting on mass and strength. He competed in his first powerlifting competition last July.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure the providers personality and training style is a good fit for you. It takes time to reach your goals and if you do not enjoy being around the professional, its probably not going to work out. I pride myself in building long lasting relationships with my clients. I hope to not only be your trainer/coach but a great friend.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What do I want to accomplish through all of this? Why do I want to accomplish these things? What do I need from the professional to make this work?
