Introduction

My Experience/Knowledge Base - 12 years of teaching experience - 13 years of Jiujitsu experience - Brown Belt - Kali (Knife and stick attacks, defense, and disarms!) - Krav Maga - Taekwondo - 2nd Degree Kenpo Brown Belt - 8 years of Boxing - 12 years of kickboxing 9-3 Kickboxing record, and 2014 Muay Thai State Championship. - Aikido - Intermediate/Advanced Wrestler - Placed in multiple jiujitsu tournaments. - Daily practice with professional fighters Lets get started today! We all know what martial arts are but what is corrective exercise? Corrective exercise is retraining your body to move correctly according to nature but also to bring proper posture back and build stength/use muscles in the most efficient way possible - with Functional Patterns (check out their IG) it relates to standing straighter, walking better, running, and throwing correctly (being a extension of the gait cycle). What you will gain with me which you will not gain from any other practioner is the understanding of the following. The way our arm works with our leg to drive contralateral reciprocation - The way our pecs work with our obliques - and the way our glutes work with our hip flexors. Together the body works as a reciprocral system that will improve all forms of athletics missing moments of essential or refined recirprocation! We will use light weights, pulley cables, and moments like throwing something, running, or even picking something up and standing will be improved upon! I guarantee you after day 1 you will feel different, and approach all forms of movement slightly differently and more efficiently 10/20/23 - Officially Human Biomechanics level 1 Certified through Functional Patterns. 11/16/21 Update - Officially Certified In Human Foundations through Functional Patterns. I have found this has helped me address mobility issues very practically! as well as it gets you moving as efficiently as possible using the walking gait as the foundation- it transfers to explosive power and eccentric movements that create a feeling of being pain-free due to the lack of body disfunction and getting stuck on the concentric motion (restriction essentially). You will also gain improved stability, muscular development, and postural correction. the key to explosive and healthy movement is proper flexion and extension of the body, so a big part of what separates me from everyone else is my approach to body mechanics. let's improve yours! as far as actual martial arts training goes I am very qualified as well if you read below I am a high level martial artist in about 4 or 5 different styles. If you need myofacial release please ask and I can show you some stuff you can do on your own with a foam roller or lacrosse ball! All of my sessions are customized for you! You will gain - The ability to disarm someone temporarily or permanently BIGGER than you. (Only in survival suitations obviously.) - Self Defense Skills (Ground, Judo, Striking, Wrestling, Karate/Hand Fighting..whatever interests you) Recovery techniques - foam rolling, stretching, meditation, mindfulness, a flow state during training. - Confidence - Strength - Discipline - Technique - Cardio - Flexibility
