Hi! Thanks for checking out my page, please take a moment to read this before applying. I'm the person on the left in the photo. I'm Kaine a trainer from Stamford, CT. I train locally, and online, and coach on nutrition. Strength = Health. This is no different for women than women. I specialize in helping women ditch the pink dumbbells to lifting heavy weights to feel incredible. I first got into fitness at the age of 16. I was a skinny kid looking to better myself and gain some confidence. Fitness has always been a big part of my life, and something I've had to juggle. Before going into the fitness industry full time I often worked multiple jobs doing 60+ hour weeks of labour-intensive jobs. Through this I've learned how to make fitness become a positive stress to my life & not a negative. Through my past experience, nutritional certification, & training certifications I hope to help you achieve the success I've made with out the headaches. Let me tell you a bit about my process. It starts by learning about who you are. What your goals are, your doubts, and how you got to where you are now. Your story is important to me, and I want to know it to help you. Then we dive deep to understand your unconscious behaviors driving unhealthy habits. With a clear understanding, we can begin the work to make the change you need to be successful. Lastly we create a plan to facilitate your goals. We will make small changes to get you to feel stronger, leaner, and most importantly healthier. I've been there and made ALL the mistakes. On top of juggling work and other commitments, it can be overwhelming. It can make you feel like just quitting. I don't want you to struggle with yo-yo diets, harmful cleanses, or restricted eating. On top of life's stresses the last thing I want is to have to make people miserable with an unstainable diet. There's no quick fixes, but there will be results. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer a variety of different prices based on the service needed. In person Training ranges from 70-80/hr and Online training ranges from 155-200.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We begin by discussing your goals, health history, and past experience with exercise. Our first session will consist of some movement screens and assessments and a light work out. With that information I develop a customized program based on your goals, current ability, and exercise preferences. I try to make it as enjoyable as possible. A good workout doesn't need to leave you gasping for air, throwing up, or miserable. There's a time and a place to push yourself to the absolute limit, and the first session isn't it.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Training has always been a passion of mine, and I wanted to share my knowledge with others. Being able to help others regain mobility, strength, and confidence in their daily life is rewarding.

All types, but I specialize in busy professionals in there 30s/40s looking to take back control of their weight, and learn healthy eating habits

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently worked with someone who came to me on the recomendation of his doctor. He needed to lose 50 pounds to see if that would lessen his joint pain and help him avoid a major surgury. He was very motivated, just needed to be guided and taught what to do. He needed help learning what healthy choices look like without breaking the bank. And he needed a plan that helped him train without major joint pain. So we got to work. When we started he couldn't do a lot of things such as squat or many movements with bending his knees. I helped him build himself from the ground up. Helped him learn how to make better choices, and learn what those choices might look like. All without making him lose his mind. 3 months later he was down 50lbs, was able to do many bent knee movements like a leg press and squat without pain. He also felt a lot more confident when it came to making smart nutritional choices. His accomplishment is a testament to being dedicated to a task and seeing it through. He did all the hard work, I just made his energy was put to good use. That to me is the point of working with a trainer --- just put in the effort and I'll make sure the path you're on works.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone who specializes in what your specific goals are. It's also important to work with someone who meshes with you, this will make obtaining your goals and maintaining over all adherence easier.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

How much am I willing to commit for what I want. Setting realistic goals with a time frame and measureable results is key to success
