Every body is not the same; therefore, I tailor each workout individually to help each client reach their particular goals. I love helping people transform their bodies. It's amazing to watch as my clients' self-esteem and self-confidence increase as they begin to see results in their physical fitness. Remember, physical fitness isn't just about six-pack abs--most importantly, it's about moving and feeling better. As an ACE certified Personal Trainer and a Medical Exercise Specialist, I also do post-rehabilitation work with individuals recovering from an injury/surgery and who have graduated from physical therapy. Pregnant? Just had a baby? I'm a pre-and post-natal exercise certified trainer and can create a plan for an expectant client as well as a plan designed for post-delivery. I train either in the comfort of your home or apartment/condo gym, outdoors, or virtually via FaceTime. Ask about the 10-session package deal. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Before a prospective client hires me, I like to meet with them to discuss their goals and to make sure they feel comfortable with me as their guide on this path to better health.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As a former restaurant manager, working out was a great stress reliever. I was always helping my friends with their workout, and that was so gratifying. 17 years ago, I decided to make a career change and do something that is really meaningful--helping others feel better physically and mentally.

What types of customers have you worked with?

My job is to help my clients reach their physical fitness goals in the safest and most efficacious manner possible. I vary the workout programs so that my clients do a different routine every week. This is so important so that the body does not adjust to the workouts, thereby burning more calories and building a leaner, more tone body. I work with those just beginning a physical fitness regime to novice athletes to older adults who want to feel better and move better.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

In order for the personal trainer/client relationship to be successful, there has to be good chemistry between the two. Personal training is a very personal interaction between two people, and the client must feel very comfortable with the person they are hiring.
