We do this by customizing your workouts around your current level of fitness and goals to ensure we see continuous progress and lasting results. We take all the thinking out of “what am I going to do at the gym today” and create unique training plans that work to make you stronger, leaner, and healthier step by step. Bio: Adam Green is the owner of AG-FIT Training. Adam brings 16 years of training experience and has learned and developed his craft from some of the best teachers in the industry. He has been certified as a Certified Personal Trainer with the International Sports Science Association, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, certified Metabolic Analytics practitioner, Kinetic Chain Enhancement practitioner, and Biomechanical Assessment practitioner by the late world renowned strength coach Charles Poliquin. In his approach to training Adam not only draws on the theoretical knowledge from years of study, but also the practical knowledge of spending almost two decades accumulating well over 10,000 hours of one on one training with clients in addition to training himself for powerlifting, athletics, and aesthetics. Adam views strength training and a healthy lifestyle as tools that can be used in one’s life as a driver for major changes not only for their appearance and health but for the mind as well. He believes that strength training and a healthy lifestyle can change any individual’s life for the better by instilling in them discipline, consistency, and the will power to achieve anything they desire if they build the foundation upon a strong and healthy mind and body.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started personal training through finding solutions to my own weight loss and confidence struggles through studying nutrition and strength training. Seeing and experiencing the changes I was able to make to my body and the confidence that gave me it was clear to me that I had a passion for helping others achieve the same transformation. Since then I have completed several certifications and learned from some of the best teachers in the industry and applied that knowledge to over 10,000 hours of in personal one on one sessions since 2013.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I mostly work with general population adults. These are people who have busy lives, jobs, and families and would like to take the "guess work" out of training and hire me to make their workouts engaging, effective, and efficient. Most of my clients goals are centered around losing weight and inches, reducing the risk of injury while constantly progressing with more challenging workouts, and gaining muscle tone and strength.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Always make sure they can tell you the reason WHY for any exercise or aspect of training they have you do. The WHY should be centered around improving something specifically for you and your goals. If they can't explain WHY they are having you do something in a way that you can understand then they are most likely just stringing together random exercises in random order or giving you a cookie cutter program not tailored to your specific goals and needs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should recognize that even the best trainer in the world with the best program in the world won't work for you unless you make the commitment to be consistent. In all my years working with clients the ones who are the most successful at achieving their goals are the ones who are consistent. If you are consistent, and make commitment to show up week in and week out and trust the program and process your trainer has laid out for you then you will find success and reach your goals.
