The main objective of Train with Stephan is to turn disbelief into confidence. We have several distinctive qualities that we pride ourselves on, firstly we help people develop body weight appropriate strength. We quite proudly shatter the perceived limitations in strength across genders. We focus on weaknesses instead of playing into strengths, this forces us out of our comfort zone and into growth. Located in West Palm, we are more than happy to bring our services to you, meeting at apartment gyms, parks, or even from home. You’ll get a comprehensive assessment followed by some goal setting. Our sole ambition in this is to see you accomplish your goals. The initial assessment is free to ensure we set proper goals and are on the path to success. We also offer Private Video Sessions and Group Private Sessions.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a personal trainer for 10YRS. I have been a fitness instructor for 4yrs. I am a certified yoga instructor.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got my start as a private trainer while i was working as a manager at a Pilates studio, the studio sponsored my certification and i began my personal training career.

What types of customers have you worked with?

ALL TYPES I have clients that can do free standing handstand pushups Ive worked with professional aerialists I also have clients that are teens and clients that are in their 80s with two knee replacements. No matter your abilities my focus as a trainer is to elevate your strength and mobility and thus your quality of life.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of my favorite recent projects was a client who had an injured glut and we rehabbed it to full function and more. “My Journey to Pistol Squat starting with a torn, scarred, and weak right Glute: I was so weak in my injured glute I could not even do an assisted Pistol squat. Coach Stephan helped me break down individual components of the Pistol by working on single leg balance, ankle flexibility, hip flexor, and glute/quad strength. This involved working my way up from ground zero to increase ankle flexibility with duck walks and a variety of yoga squats. We built balance and core strength by doing single leg swings and lungi g exercises and glute and quad strength with variety of body weight squats and hill sprints. We then progressed to assisted pistol squats and to my surprise I was able to do full pistol squats after 2 months of training- a full 4 months ahead of my goal thanks to Coach Stephan’s ability to deconstruct the pistol squat components and address all my deficiencies accordingly.”
