Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is set per session and includes more than just the time spent in training. It covers programming, planning, access to our training app and materials, and health and wellness consulting. We also offer up to 20% in stackable discounts to make our services more accessible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We start with a free consultation to discuss your goals, health history, and fitness level. From there, we create a personalized training plan tailored to your needs, whether in-person, online, or hybrid. Our team focuses on safe, effective, and customized programs to help you reach your goals, with ongoing support and guidance.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our team brings a diverse set of skills and certifications: • Kyle is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through NASM, with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling, allowing him to integrate mental and physical health into his training. • Lisa holds a Master of Science in Health Education & Sports Sciences and is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). She also teaches health and fitness at the college level and has a strong background in cardiac rehab, senior fitness, and adaptive exercise

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
LFT was born from a passion for helping others to move better, get stronger, and live healthier lives. • Kyle became a personal trainer to deepen his knowledge of human movement and uses his background in Psychology (B.A.) and Mental Health Counseling (M.A.) to create a holistic, mind-body approach to fitness. • Lisa has over two decades of experience in therapeutic recreation and corporate wellness, focusing on improving strength, mobility, and independence, especially for older adults and individuals with chronic conditions.

Whether you’re an athlete, managing a chronic condition, or simply looking to move better, we tailor programs to fit your needs. • Kyle specializes in corrective exercise, strength training, senior fitness, and holistic wellness, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and mental well-being. • Lisa has over 20 years of experience in therapeutic recreation, cardiac rehab, and senior fitness, specializing in working with older adults and those managing neurodegenerative diseases.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently, we worked with a client in her 70s looking to improve bone density. Over 12 months, using a structured high-intensity resistance training program, we helped her achieve measurable increases in BMD, alongside improved strength and balance—enhancing her confidence and quality of life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Choose a provider who truly listens and customizes programs to your needs. Credentials and experience are important, but a trainer’s ability to connect, understand your goals, and adapt the plan is what leads to real results. We prioritize personalized, science-backed programs that focus on long-term health and functional movement.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about your specific goals—whether it’s strength, mobility, injury recovery, or improving bone density—as well as any health concerns or past injuries. Consider your preferred training style (in-person or virtual), how much time you can commit, and whether you’d benefit more from corrective exercise, strength training, or holistic wellness coaching.
