Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I have my rate lower than most in the area so that those who can’t afford the higher prices are still able to get the same training as others! I love what I do and would like to reach as many people as possible! Exercise is medicine and I want everyone to get the opportunity!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First, I would hop on a call or meet in person to discuss history, experience, and their goals. Second, we would schedule a session to do baseline testing so I have good idea of what I would need to do with this specific client or where to start pertaining to their goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance and Sport with a concentration of Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training and I have been an athlete all my life as well as a collegiate athlete. I also was fortunate enough to train cancer survivors in the Cancer Related Fatigue program!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have been an athlete since I was a little girl and being active has always been part of my everyday routine. I always knew I was passionate about health and fitness but was unsure of what I wanted to pursue as my career until my sophomore year of college, I moved to West Palm Beach and went to a trainer at One Fitness and that day I just knew this was the right field for me and switched my major. I wanted to impact people’s lives in a positive way and help them live a healthier life.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
A variety of age groups from 20s-70s, along with cancer survivors. I have worked with clients with organ transplants, hip replacements, knee replacements, athletes, regular adults looking to start exercise for the first time! A major variety of clients!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Book a session and see if you mesh well with that trainer, try a few until you know it’s a good fit!
