What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Schedule your "Get to Know You" Call
Choosing a Personal Trainer that's the right fit for you is a BIG commitment and we don't take that lightly. Meet with our owner, Lauren, who will not only get to know you, but recommend the best program for your goals.
Step 2: Fill out on boarding Paperwork
Once your "Get to Know You" Call is scheduled, you will receive a google calendar event with the google meets link so we can meet "face-to-face".
The on boarding paperwork will help us uncover details about you to match you with the Klasik Fit coach that fits effortlessly into your life to get you the results you deserve. We will take lifestyle, healthy habits, fitness goals, schedule, and more into consideration.
Step 3: Workout!
Meet one of our top coaches and complete your introductory session. During the first session we will complete a a physical assessment and functional movement screening (come ready to sweat!), a short workout, and your first 6 week game plan (our recommendation).
What do you need to prepare? Just your favorite workout outfit, your water bottle, and that’s it! We will take it from there.
Step 4: Get Klasik Fit!
Ready, set, GO!
You’re now about to embark on an empowering journey with more accountability to reach your health goals, metric- and goal-driven progression, wellness education, customized fitness plan, and consistent and reliable support along the way.
Congratulations – now, let’s get your sweat on!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our trainers hold Bachelor's and Masters Degrees as well as current Personal Training Certifications. They also hold different specializations from yoga, Pilates, rehab and injury prevention, pre and post partum, pregnancy, strength and conditioning, and more. After the initial consult, we will match you with a trainer that has background and experience in what you are looking for.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We are female run and operated! Our founder, Lauren, was sick and tired of the "gym bro" Personal Trainers. She wanted to provide people with Personal Training from educated professionals that invest not just time but energy into their clients fitness journey.
"People deserve to feel comfortable with their trainer as well as leave a session not just with a great workout but feeling educated and empowered "
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all ages, genders, colors, sizes, injuries, etc.
Our team is experts in all different areas! We will match you with the trainer that is the best fit for you (both fitness experience as well as personality).
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire a professional that has experience with working with clients like you. Too often do clients come to us and tell us their trainer injured them. Work with someone that holds a current Personal Training certification and is specialized in injury prevention. BONUS if they have a degree in Kinesiology!
Also, Nutrition meal plans are OUT OF SCOPE OF PRACTICE for a Personal Trainer. If you are looking for Nutrition guidance, work with a Registered Dietitian vs. a Personal Trainer. Most of the time, RD's are covered under your Insurance policy. Our sister company, Klasik Nutrition, accepts insurance and has Registered Dietitians.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Does the trainer provide workouts on their off days?
What level of Nutrition support do they provide?
Do they hold a current Personal Trainer Certification and CPR/AED?
Have you worked with clients with my injury before? What was the outcome?
Have you ever injured a client?
What level of degree do you hold?
What happens if you go on vacation? Do you have another trainer that will sub the sessions?
Do you track my performance for me?
