What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It starts with an initial consultation. I want you to feel 100% comfortable with me as your fitness coach, as well as my process and style in helping you achieve the results you seek. We will cover physical training, fat loss, diet, sleep and other personal habits, hormonal health, and much much more.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

In college as a part-time trainer. And although I was inexperienced I structured meal plans for individuals mostly pro bono as a way of developing experience and credibility.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for personal trainers who understand programming as it has become nearly an extinct art form. Training programs should be based on sound evidence-based principals and components using progressive overload. Programs should be supported by current science and practical application. Programming can take years to master requiring ongoing education, mentorship, and deliberate hands-on experience training clients in-person. A qualified trainer/coach can defend each and every exercise in their program and demonstrate the “how” and explain the “why” an exercise or specific principle applies to your training and life needs. Many trainers fall into the trap of using generic, one-size-fits-all workout plans, but we know that what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another. Weight loss clients have different needs compared to performance athletes, and that’s why a personalized approach is essential for success. Think of program design like a GPS system: it provides a customized route that navigates you through obstacles, guiding you step-by-step to your final destination. When personal trainers rely on cookie-cutter programs, they fail to take into account your unique goals, needs, and abilities. These generic plans may not be aligned with what you want to achieve or what your body needs, which means they don’t have your best interests at heart. Following a one-size-fits-all plan can leave you feeling frustrated and stuck, seeing little to no progress even after months of wasting away your time and money. I believe in a flexible, adaptive approach to training. While I tailor each client’s program to suit their individual goals, needs, and abilities, I focus on making adjustments based on ongoing progress and feedback. Rather than setting up a rigid program far in advance, I prefer to respond to how your body adapts and make necessary changes along the way. This ensures that every session is optimized for your success and aligned with your current fitness level and goals.
