Introduction

If you're a busy professional with limited time, staying fit and healthy can be a challenge. That's where my business comes in. I specialize in designing custom workout programs tailored to your specific needs. I work with clients 35 years and older as well as senior citizens; I can help you reach your body goals. I've worked with countless clients who have experienced injuries and other challenges, and together we've created successful workout programs that get results. For seniors, my focus is on mobility and injury prevention, so you can enjoy an active lifestyle for years to come. But it's not just about looking good on the outside; I believe in quality over quantity, and my programs are designed to promote overall health and longevity. So if you're looking for a personalized approach to fitness and nutrition, look no further than my business.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My mission is to quality, not quantity, so I don't look for many clients. However, I like to commit myself to a solid number of those to I can give 100%. The first session is always free; after that, I have 8, 12, and 20 session packages paid monthly, priced lower per session the more you buy.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Building trust and a solid connection right away is crucial for me. So I would like to get to know you first to understand your needs and a clear path to get there. If you decide to work with me, you will get punctuality, energy, accountability, and a detailed plan of what to work on outside of our training sessions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been certified as a fitness expert for 20 years. I hold certifications in personal training, master trainer, group training, boxing, kettlebell, TRX, and more. ACE, NESTA, and ISSA certified.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started as a slim kid all the way into early adulthood. I was so thin that, at the time, I believed my weight made life hard for me. I was desperately seeking to put on size and muscle. After my journey of trial and error, I grew a passion for helping others with their goals because I know firsthand what it is like to look in the mirror and want to see and feel something different.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with children as young as four years old, teenagers, adults, seniors, and athletes.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I worked with a client who wanted to lose weight fast for her wedding. She worked out with me four days a week, and I coached her through what she should be doing when she was not working with me. I customized her meal plan and macros and did video tutorials on how to do portion control and meal prep. As a result, not only did she lose over 40 pounds in 5 months, but she was also nicely toned all over and got the butt she always wanted, and this was all done virtually. In the last two months leading up to the wedding, she had to keep a close eye on her clothing and get refitting for her dress because she had lost more weight. I was invited to the wedding, which I happily accepted.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
There are a lot of trainers who can show people how to exercise, but nothing can replace experience. Longevity in this business means knowing what works and what does not. Going beyond fancy terminology and understanding that every single person is different, therefore everything from a workout plan to nutrition truly needs to be customized to that individual. More importantly, clients need to be taught how to make the proper shift during their journey and adjust as things are constantly changing in their lives. Personal training is about lifestyle coaching to not create dependency but to truly bridge the gap from your old self to the new to create lifelong healthy habits.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
There are all types of professionals on Thumbtack, from photographers to personal trainers to plumbers. But the thing to think about most when choosing a professional is that you need help with your most prized and irreplaceable possession, which is your body. This is the main reason absolutely nothing replaces experience. There are value shoppers, quality shoppers, and people who focus on a little bit of both. But I would strongly recommend investing in professionals who have seen it, done it, and already made their mistakes when it comes to someones else's livelihood.
