What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Price is for Semi-Private Sessions with no more than 4 participants. The workouts are always 100% tailored to you.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will assess you strength on the primary barbell lifts to establish a strength baseline. I will manage your recovery and load to ensure that you are getting stronger with each visit. Numbers don't lie and you will leave most sessions having accomplished something you haven't done previously.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Personal Trainer Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I practice what I preached by maintaining an active lifestyle by training on a regular basis, competing in Powerlifting Competitions, and consuming information about health/fitness on a weekly basis. I've traveled as far as Texas to learn about strength training.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As my passion for exercise grew, I began to design workout plans for family members and coworkers. I found the process very gratifying, but I needed more knowledge and credentials to truly help others. That is why I decided to pursue a Personal Trainer certification.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with male and female clients as young as 12 and as old as 70. Most had never touched a barbell before hiring me, so prior barbell experience is not needed. I will find your current strength capacity and increase it, one step at a time!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have an client that has trouble managing her weight and her blood sugar levels were pre-diabetic. After 3 months of training her strength more than doubled, her blood work can back with significantly lower A1C levels, and her clothes from the previous summer are too big now!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a trainer that will give you skills you can carry throughout your life, who has a sciencee-based approach to training, and has a way to show you measurable results from your investment.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

1) Does the trainer's philosophy develop my entire body or is the focus limited to target areas or "beach muscles"? 2) Does the trainer's philosophy stress habit development, or do they offer an unsustainable fad plan? Is the plan appropriate for your fitness level? 3) Does the trainer practice what he or she preaches? Does their body reflect the lifestyle they are promoting?
