Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Basically we incentivize commitment to your goal. The more sessions you commit up front on your Fitness goal the cheaper the session. Simply put I want my clients to succeed and be rewarded for staying healthy and fit and achieving there goals!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Generally our process is very fluid and involves alot of the clients input along my expertise on where to start and how to along the process of getting to there goals. Essentially we have a initial free consultation session with the new client. We go over current health status and past health history. Identify the clients history with working out and current workout status. At this point we perform measurements if the client is comfortable with performing them. From there we identify short term and long term realistic goals. Once the goals are established for the client then we then start the program in one of many different phases that will change over time in accordance to the clients weekly frequency intervals and there specific goals. During the process we will on strength training, nutrition and supplementation, cardiovascular health, flexibility and pre and post injury relief. Initially we like to meet with our clients more in the beginning, example being 3 times a week instead of 2 times a week. As the client attains there goals and gains more responsibility and confidence with there fitness program outside of there personal training sessions with me, then take the clients frequency down to later set them up for long term lifestyle success and continuing there workouts on there own regularly. Of course Frequency is not only determined by client goals, but finances as well. Ultimately at Kkick Fit we aim to provide the best way to get involved with personal training as any personal training with Kkick Fit is better then no training at all with Kkick Fit

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Kevin got Started with Personal Training by originally teaching private Martial Arts Lessons part time while I ran a 30,000 square foot warehouse for an online Home and Car audio company. I loved working out and being in shape and naturally seemed to attract individuals asking about working and how to get in shape. I got Certified through NASM to become a personal trainer part time along with my Martial Arts lessons. Eventually I moved to Overland Park KS from Springfield MO to pursue personal training full time. I worked at 24 Hour Fitness for 6 years as a Master Trainer. I had a year at Health ridge and Genesis before I went on my own and Created Kkick Fit LLC for 7 years now. Alicia got her start at Rebound Physical Therapy in Topeka, KS just after graduating from College at Emporia St. University. After Rebound Fitness Alicia worked at Aspiria Fitness, Health ridge and Genesis Health Clubs as either Fitness manager and or trainer.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with all sorts of clients. Older people that needed help with everyday general task. Clients that have incurred injuries and have had post surgery rehab needs. Individuals who were getting ready for Military PT test. Sports related training from youth football to Martial arts training. Weightloss clients. Body building and physique contestants both male and female. Muscle building and weight gain clients. Even general fitness for better internal health to lessen certain medical prescription usage. We have also worked with those that are looking for martial arts training for self defense. I try not to have one Niche group and help as many people as possible.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure the professional lives the life they preach. Looks wise, mentality wise brand wise and so forth. Look at how long the professional has been training in total jot just on there own. Example being: work at a corporate gym or setting as such or smaller box gym before going on there own. Total time of experience generally indicates ones abilities at there job and there longevity. Ask questions and as many as you want to. The professional should be able to answer all your questions openly and willingly towards your experience.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are you looking for quality or the cheapest option you can find. Remember you get what you pay for. Does the professional represent your idea of what your looking for? Example if your looking for a trainer are they in shape themselves. If so they probably have the discipline to better themselves as well as you! Where do you see yourself at the end of your experience and is it truly achievable and realistically aligned with the pros plan for you?
