I’ve been in the fitness industry for 9 years. Earning my degree and certifications in this field has opened up more opportunities than I can ever imagine. One of those opportunities is entrepreneurship which has brought me to building a company that fits me: Trainwithwaynefitness. Guiding an endless amount of people to achieve their fitness goals including mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically fit while finding the fun of working out is my purpose. How did you get started doing this type of work?

I been an athlete my whole life. I’ve played sports in high school and College. Played football, baseball, basketball but mostly football. Played 2 years at a community college and ended up having to cut my career short due to a knee injury. I didn’t want that to be my conclusion to sports so I ended up pursuing education about fitness. I worked in a couple of gyms until I was ready to build my own fitness company.

I should say everyone under the sun. Young adults, seniors, clients with limitations and/or disabilities, pregnant (Prenatal/Postnatal), no experience, tons of experience, athletes, you name it

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are many good trainers out there, but what makes a great trainer is a person that can not only train you, but also keep you motivated. Make sure they are as invested in you as you are in them.
