Introduction

Knowledge. Nutrition. Exercise. Rest. Consistency. I have dedicated my life around these 5 core principles and they have become the basis around my client program's which are designed not only to reach weight or aesthetic goals you may have, but to teach and prioritize how to sustain overall health and longevity. Focusing first on corrective and efficient fundamental movement patterns then learning how and when to progress based on your individual work capacity and potential. By taking a holistic approach to your training routine we will discuss nutrition habits/health concerns, sleep patterns and efficiency, regeneration habits and movement consistency/work ergonomics. Everything will be tailored to improve the way you live your life to get you looking, moving and most importantly feeling better than you ever have! Currently conducting sessions out of Fit St. KC located in the Crossroads. I operate as an independent contractor and fees are separate from the gym facility, but will have access to all amenities.

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our initial meeting will be to discuss goals, health history and screen/assess current movement capability and joint capacity. After purchasing your initial program package your first session will be a free fitness assessment where we will test overall strength and endurance to assess your current fitness level and will help guide the direction of your program moving forward.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
- NASM Certified Personal Trainer - Certified Precision Nutrition Lvl 1 Coach - Certified Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist - Athletic Kettlebell Lvl 1&2 Coach

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I began competing in Men's Physique Competition's in 2015 and after good run of doing 5 shows I realized that aesthetics was not the end all be all and was living with quite a bit of pain from the continuous stress being put on my body. In 2018 I decided to change my career to personal training full time with the intent of expanding my knowledge of health and fitness to be able to help a variety of individuals unlock their untapped potential that they may not have even known was there. I went onto to train out of Equinox where I learned the importance of longevity over short terms aesthetic goals and really learned to be a great coach with the ability to take a clients goal and put it into an efficient and effective program tailored to the individual that they can enjoy while learning and discovering more about themselves and most importantly hitting/surpassing the goals they set out for themselves!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with numerous clients ranging from first timers who have never stepped foot in a gym to experienced fitness competitor's looking for a specific aesthetic look. General weight loss/weight gain clients. Asthmatic clients looking to increase cardiovascular endurance.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone who's not only passionate about helping you achieve your initial goals, but committed to diving deeper and teaching you to live a healthy life that you can sustain without the help of a professional. You only come to see us a few hours of the week but its what it done in the hours and days we don't see that is the real reason behind your results and longevity.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Have you ever worked with a trainer in the past? How involved do you want/expect your professional to be with you throughout your program/journey. What type of lifestyle do you live/want to be able to live and is how you're living now a reflection of that? Is nutrition something that you want guidance with during your program? What type of training have you done in the past and enjoyed that you would like to see in your program? Anything new that you're wanting to learn during your program?
