Hi all!! My name is Lynsey and I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach. I am a mobile trainer. I train at clients homes, apartment gyms, outdoors or wherever and whenever works best for my clients. I typically serve Johnston and Wake Counties in NC. I live in Clayton, NC but travel all over. I have been training many years and I love what I do. This is not a job to me but a passion. After going through my own weight loss journey, I fell in love with living an active and healthy lifestyle. I have trained 100s of clients over the years ranging in ages 8-90 yrs old. I have experience training clients who want to get in shape, couples looking to get fit together, athletes looking to try out for a team, people who have had strokes, heart attacks, prosthetic limbs, pregnancies, etc. I am here to help you out anyway I can!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I try to keep my prices fair. I like to help as many people as I can!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The process is typically to chat on the app to get basic information. Then I like to meet in person either at a gym or coffee shop to discuss more in depth. We discuss, goals, injuries, days/times of sessions, location of sessions, price per session and more. After that the onboarding begins. I then send emails with a questionnaire and other necessary forms.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I found my passion for fitness when I went on a weight loss journey of my own. I knew that if I could get fit and eat better, than I could help others as well.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have trained clients ages 8-85, men and women and many have had strokes, prosthetics, pregnant, cancer and more

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

One of my greatest success stories is my client, Emily. Emily came to me after moving to the area. She was in her mid twenties and weighed more than she’d like. At first she had a hard time committing to her weekly sessions and she would often cancel at least once a week. After a few months, she really buckled down and then began seeing results. She started eating better but still ate what she wanted sometimes. After 6 months she has lost 50lbs and she is almost at her goal weight. She has gained muscle and she even has her neighbor now joining her and they cheer each other on each and every session.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask as many questions as you can..not everyone trains the same way. You need to make sure you and your trainer are a good match.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

They should think about what their goals are, how long they want to train for, if they can afford the services and what they want to get out of training other than their physical goals.
