What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our price ranges from $65 - $73 per session depending on package size. The bigger the package, the smaller the price. We use our Thumbtack introductory Special as an introduction to Personal training. If our clients decide to continue on after he introductory special, we give them to those free, and apply that initial payment as a credit to their package!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It is extremely important that we find out why or clients are investing in training. Once we figure it their “why” we develop a training program consistent with their goals and lifestyle. Our process starts with an initial screening, assessment, program execution, and re assessment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Both trainers at our facility have their Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, and over 9 years combined training experience. Extensive knowledge in human anatomy, and physiology scrape the surface of their competence. Trainers have training background and certifications in TRX suspension training, working with weight loss and general fitness populations, athletic populations, and more.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Movement Hub Santa Clara was founded by Stephen Ross whose training background dates back to his days as a competitive athlete, and eventual love for coaching. A gym rat by nature as a youngster, Stephen coupled his love for fitness with his education to provide clients of Movement Hub the absolute best training experience.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our clients range from weight loss, general fitness, strength gain, corrective exercise, conditioning, speed training, toning and firming, injury rehabilitation, and more.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We always suggest potential clients to do their homework. Find a professional that is right for them and their training goals, and has an educational background in the industry.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Potential clients should ask themselves why they are investing in training, and whether training is the right fit for them. Although effective, training itself is not the magic pill. It takes consistency in and out of the fitness center and a great deal of commitment. If they’re ready to commit to their health and fitness, training may be a great match!
